Finding the Best Folding Incline Treadmill
Finding the right treadmill with a folding incline that fits your lifestyle could feel like an uphill climb. It can be a challenge to navigate the overcrowded, market that is low-cost.

This budget-friendly option may appear basic, but it's an impressive machine when it comes to fitness features. It has 12 incline levels and can reach speeds of up to 12 mph. It folds up and slides easily under a bed to make storage.
1. SereneLife Folding Treadmill with Incline
A treadmill that folds is an ideal option for those who want to work out at home but isn't ready to dedicate an entire room to a workout machine. These treadmills are easy to fold and unfold, making them ideal for small apartments and living spaces. They can also be stored easily when not being used. Certain models come with wheels that make moving them easier.
One of the most well-known small, folding incline treadmill s available is this model from SereneLife. It is designed to work with various weights and heights using adjustable settings. The treadmill also comes with numerous features and programs, including Bluetooth connectivity and an LCD display and 12 pre-programmed exercises. It can support the maximum weight of 265 pounds.
This particular treadmill has a hydraulic folding system which makes it easy to open and close. It can be locked in place for added safety. It also comes with a safety key that can be used to turn off the power in an emergency function as well as a digital LCD screen with touch button controls, and a built-in magazine tray and cup holders. Its motor is 1 horsepower and can attain speeds of 0.6-6 MPH, which makes it ideal for jogging and walking.
SereneLife's folding incline treadmill is a great choice for those who want to exercise at home. The company sells only two treadmills, so it's not a company is expected to be at the forefront of fitness technology. The treadmill is still quite modern and offers plenty for the price. The deck is shorter than that of most other treadmills, and it might not be the best choice for people who are taller or have a stride that is longer.
2. iFit 1250 Treadmill
This foldable treadmill from NordicTrack is a great choice for runners and power walkers who wish to train using incline features. The motor and frame are more durable than those of other treadmills that fold up in this price range and comes with a large running deck that is suitable for running at top speeds. The running deck measures 20 inches in length and 60 inches in width and should be able to accommodate runners of all heights. The deck is a bit shorter than some of the other models I've tested but it's still a comfortable fit for most users.
The Commercial 1250 is able to automatically adjust the speed and incline according to your optimal training zone using the SmartBeat wireless chest band (sold separately). This feature is referred to as ActivePulse and is a big reason why I like the 1250 more than similar treadmills in this price range.
This treadmill also offers iFit programming, which comes with an extensive collection of workouts and videos with elite athletes and coaches. The iFit program also provides guided runs that bring you to places such as Patagonia. The treadmill will still function if you don't want to use iFit. However you won't be in a position to get the automatic adjustments or immersive training experiences.
The NordicTrack Commercial 1250 requires a large area to operate and is quite heavy for a folding machine. It is easy to move, however, and it is covered by an extended warranty of 10 years. The warranty is longer than that of other treadmills that are in this price range which is nice to observe.
3. iFit 1250 Folding Treadmill
With the ability to automatically adjust the speed and incline, this treadmill offers one of the best iFit experiences available. With iFIT, you get access to a wealth of on-demand workouts led by top trainers and spread across the world. Its iFIT exercises incorporate AutoAdjust which means that your treadmill will automatically adjust to the instructions of your trainer.
The 1250 Folding Treadmill also has a 10-inch HD touchscreen that tilts and pivots so that you can follow the steps of iFIT without pressing buttons. The screen is positioned at an ideal height for me, and it is easy to navigate. You can easily listen to your trainer with built-in 2 two" speakers or plug in your own Bluetooth headphones to really take in the world and remain focused. The iFit Folding Treadmill has an AutoBreeze workout fan that is built-in to those who are running.
You can train on any terrain by using the 12 slope and three decline settings. The Commercial 1250 has 1.9-inch rollers that aren't the same size as those on the Peloton Treadmill, but they are suitable for the majority of walkers and runners.
The ActivePulse technology for heart rate tracking is a further amazing feature of the iFit 1250. This technology automatically adjusts your speed and incline throughout your workout to ensure you stay in your optimal heart rate zone (requires the SmartBeat chest band - not included). The iFit is priced at $1999, which is cheaper than the Peloton Treadmill, but still provides an exceptional experience. You'll have access to a huge library of workouts and iFIT's community coaches, who will motivate you to keep running.
4. iFit 1250 Plus Treadmill
The iFit technology is built into this treadmill that allows you to follow along with the various online workouts and also participate in live studio classes. This feature is not available on any other treadmills and is a fantastic way to maximize your workouts. The console displays your workout data, including speed time, incline, and distance, and also keeps track of your heart rate.
This model is part of the Commercial Series from Nordictrack and comes with several top-of-the-line features that can assist you in achieving your fitness goals. AutoAdjust is an automatic feature that adjusts the treadmill's speed and incline during trainer-led workouts. It also comes with ActivePulse technology, which will match the machine's settings with your own heart rate monitor while using iFit workouts.
Another thing we love about this model is its huge 22-inch touch screen, which is used to stream iFit workout classes. It also comes with built-in speakers, Automatic Trainer Control, Bluetooth connectivity and a cushioned treadmill to ensure a relaxing workout. It's slightly less expensive than other NordicTrack models, but offers a lot for the price.
The only drawback to this treadmill is that it is bulky and heavy. It may be easier to keep it in one location rather than move it around, but it is simple to fold away when not in use thanks to the gas shock. It has a low step-up to a height of 7.75 inches, making it much easier to get on and off. For more information on this model, take a look at our complete review. This model comes with an 3.5 CHP engine that gives plenty of power to do hard jogging or HIIT workouts. It also has a 15% incline, and a decline of 3% to give you more intensity. It's also extremely quiet, making it an excellent option for walking while taking a phone or video call.
The 10" touchscreen is a large display that allows you to track your progress and access the iFit platform. This platform has video lessons from elite trainers and runners, and also guided walks and runs in diverse terrains, like mountains or forests, or even beaches. It can also be connected to your iFit wearables to automatically adjust the speed and incline, so you can get the most benefit from every run.
It is important to know that iFit requires a SmartBeat Heart Rate Monitor, which is available separately. These are sold at many fitness stores and online, and they help you stay in the best shape for your workout. The iFit 1250 also has built-in Bluetooth speakers that stream your favourite tunes.
Another characteristic that makes the iFit 1250 apart is its SmartGlide deck, which automatically adjusts to the changes in your stride. This helps prevent injuries and keeps you comfortable when you run or walk.
The treadmill is also compact, which makes it easy to put it under a bed or couch when not in use. The EZ Lift assist makes it easy to open and close the machine. You can even put your laptop on the console to work out during the Zoom meeting.
